Dec 23,2017 SGM Postponed.

Dear Members:

The SGM that was planned for the 23rd of Dec, 2017 for the purposes of filling three board positions has been postphoned for Jan 2018. The planned SGM could not be done according to the plan due to the lack of submissions for candidacy. Still ACFOLA’s Director of Election would like to fill the following three vacancies at Board of Directors of ACFOLA.

1. Public Relation and Communications Director( Open for association members). All associations can compete for this position.
2. Employment and Settlement Affairs Director( Open for female individual members)
3. Events and Social Development Affairs Director( Open for any individual member).

These vacancies will be filled in early 2018 by a specifically called SGM that will be announced for January, 2018.

Until then, NOMINATION, ACCEPTANCE AND SECONDING must be done by members( COPRPORATE AND INDIVIDUAL) who are in good standing up to the year 2017. You can pay your membership fee by writing a cheque payable to ACFOLA or make e-transfer to accounts@acfola.ca using your online banking.

You can also complete the nomination, acceptance and seconding online. You do not need to download, print, scan and send papers to the office.
